And the award goes to....

Whoever can put up with those awards shows. The Grammys, Oscars, Emmys, all of them. Just a bunch of self serving tripe. I'd like to know who does the voting for these things. I never got a ballot to vote for any nominees , did you? But then again, the average American doesn't usually vote for their favorite politician anyway. They either:

A) too lazy to vote (I'm sorry, if you can spend all day googling Britney Spears' latest pr0n...*cough*...MUSIC video off of youtube...)
B) too uninformed about issues and candidates (30 second spots between episodes of American Idol doesn't count.)
C) too apathetic (then I don't care to to hear your whining about the way things are...)

Or people like me:

So disenfranchised with the way things are being run that either way you vote, you're still gonna get screwed.

But anyway, the awards show THAT really gets me going is the screen actors' guild award.

Is that such a bunch of self serving. self absorbed bullsh*t? Actors giving OTHER actors awards.

'Yes, I'd like a table for one and 50 for my HEAD.'

'Yes sir, we can sit you next to Jennifer Lopez and George Lucas...'

But to be totally honest, getting award for something you did, is a nice gesture. But in the end, just doing the best job you can should be award enough.

Thanks for reading.

Later!

yea. hollywierd is a spoiled society unto itself. Must be nice. I like the teal colour on your blog. good colour. Anyhoo, the Grammys were d u l l. Boring. My grrlll Pink wasn't even on; and it was over 3 hours. Ridiculous waste of air time. Anybody out there like Russell Brand? Anybody out there know who he is? I hear scientology is based on the premise of people having past lives; and working out those leftover memories/issues in this present one. I like that concept. Sounds possible to me. All the other stuff they may do, that's another thing. La La out.

I can actually put up with the Grammy, Oscar and Emmy Award Shows! Okay well, not exactly Emmy's but it still pleases me lol. Sometimes, they have one category wherein people can vote.

In my country, a lot of people don't care about voting anymore. It's gonna be all fucked up after the elections anyway LOL.

Much Love,
